Canon Point: Chapter 80
Gender & Sex: Female
Age: 17
Birthdate/Sign: (Not canon) May 5th, Taurus. Yori shows many traits that are associated with Taurus as well as Earth signs. She is a very calm and attentive person, able to keep her worries and fears in check when they would not help in a situation. She is dependable, productive when it comes to school and always there when a friend needs her – though not if it's for anything ridiculous, mind you. Yori is practical but has a romantic side to her as well, shown by her awe in the fact that a person's love for someone can make them remember memories that were taken from them. She is also very kind and trustworthy, as she does not disclose any information that she knows about vampires or hunters to anyone who is not supposed to know.
The two traits that most show that Yori fits as a Taurus, however, are her enduring loyalty and careful outlook. She remains best friends with Yuuki even after finding out she is a vampire and even when she hadn't been able to communicate with her for over a year. Also, she has a careful outlook on life, not positive nor negative, as she is very observant and does not easily place faith in people or things that she does not understand well (as in vampires). Earth signs are very feminine and introverted, as is Yori, who often dresses modestly but feminiely and who is not a overly outgoing person.
Tattoo: On her neck, below her left ear, roughly 1 1/2 inches in width and height.
Suitability: Sayori has shown on countless occasions that she is a very mature and well-balanced person. Even at the age of 16 she was very responsible in her studies and showed very observant and dependable qualities. At the age of 17 now, she is still a mature person who has been taking care of herself without trouble. Attending a boarding school means that she doesn't go home everyday to see her parents, and as such has to judge things for herself without as much of their input as she could have had otherwise.
Even when finding out suddenly and frightfully of the fact that vampires exist – and that her very own best friend is one – she was able to remain calm through the whole situation. Sure she was afraid, but Yori knew well enough that panicking would not help her in any way. She survived through this event and the destruction of the Academy while showing a strength in character and clear head that made her able to trust the Night Class even though they are vampires, just like one who tried to attack her.
Also, while she hasn't met the man, Yori is in fact already engaged to someone through an arranged marriage. She hasn't shown to be an overly romantic person, she does have her fantasy moments about romance and love. All of these points make me certain that Yori would be suited for this game, would be able to take care of herself under these circumstances without an incredible amount of trouble, as she is a very mature person and has shown to be able to make good judgements on her own to take care of herself to the best of her abilities.
Power: Yori does not have any powers canonically, but upon being brought to Zodion she will have gained the Earth ability of growth manipulation.
Personality: Yori is above all, a very loyal person and friend. She didn't stop being Yuuki's friend when she found out she was a vampire, and treated her the same afterward. How could she not when this was the girl she had been friends with for many years? She couldn't be afraid of her, knew better than to believe that Yuuki's whole personality would change simply because she isn't human. Yuuki is still herself, the same kind person she knows, and so when Yuuki pinned her to the ground and told her she could bite her then and there, Yori simply laughed. This is because she knows her best friend through and through. She knows that Yuuki the human and Yuuki the vampire may have some differences, but she is still the same person she knows and cares for. This also gives her cause to be very protective of the girl, and she in fact questions Zero over whether or not he will hunt down Yuuki because she is afraid for her - of losing her - not and never of her.
She believes in treating people fairly, treating them the way they should be treated no matter if she knows them well or not and no matter if she should have a predisposition not to. When the Night Class was forced to reveal what they are, she didn't hold the fact that they are vampires against them even if she knows they are dangerous. She was the first to thank Aidou for protecting her, saving her life, from the other vampires who were trying to attack them, even thoug she was well aware that he was a vampire as well. She was also very adamant over keeping her memories of the whole event, even though it was frightening. She has a strong sense of will and therefore did not want her memories to be erased, for fear of being oblivious once again to things going on around her and the lives that people important to her are a part of. However, Yori isn't a fool, because she is in fact afraid of vampires and has started doubting whether they and humans can live peacefully together, even though it pains her to think that way and even though there are vampires who she cares about and trusts.
She is soft-spoken, very responsible, and an overall calm and polite person. She doesn't express emotions extremely, which gives her a very gentle and feminine, but serious, demeanor. This can most likely be explained by her upbringing, though not much information is known about her childhood at present except that she belongs to a very old and distinguished family. She has proper manners and good work habits, and Yori is hardworking in school and seems to care a lot about her studies. She is responsible, and though doesn't appear to be the most passionate – or overbearing – person when it comes to grades, she makes sure to inform Yuuki that she should work harder and stop slacking, because it isn't in her best interests.
Yori has a slightly dry sense of humor and can be teasing and sarcastic when it comes to friends, especially her best friend, and isn't overly sympathetic, perfers being honest rather than sugar-coating things. She can also be very blunt about what she's thinking. However, while all of this is true, she has been shown to have incredible worry over those she cares for. She's constantly worried over Yuuki but never becomes upset with her when she never tells her what is wrong (even if she knows something is bothering her greatly). This makes her a very mature and trusting person who is able to overcome her own selfish want to know what is going on and what is wrong to see that prying into her friend's life would only cause trouble. She trusts the fact that when Yuuki needs her, she will come to her, and Yori will always be there to help as best as she can.
Finally, Yori is very observant of people and her surroundings. She can tell when her best friend is upset about something, can tell when something is amiss and there is danger, and even knew that Zero had feelings for Yuuki even when she didn't know it herself. This is shown in such instances as when she knew something was very different about the night class, was admittedly fearful of them, and wasn't so easily charmed by their good looks or mysterious aura. It's also shown during the vampire ball, in which she knew was going to be risky to attend but did so anyway when offered the chance to.
Even if she doesn't know much about a situation, she makes sure to know the circumstances and find out anything she can. She was well aware that this was a formal event, and because there were hunters she was certain she wasn't really in danger, because if she was killed the ball would be a disaster, which allowed her to maintain a calm exterior while there. But no matter if she was in a lot of danger, Yori would not have been stopped anyway; her want to see Yuuki after they hadn't seen each other in a year was too strong to prevent her from this opportunity. She didn't know when she would get another chance, so she took the risk and didn't let fear or worry stop her from seeing her friend.

"Zodion" First-Person Network Entry:
[When the video feed turns on, a petite girl with golden brown hair looks into the camera with a carefully muted expression. Of course, her thoughts are going a mile a minute, trying to make sense of what is happening, but right now she knows her best chance to find out would be through this device, and freaking out would not do any good.
She takes a deep breath]
Hello? My name is Sayori Wakaba. Can someone please explain to me what is happening? [Her expression seems calm, serious, but anyone who knows her or is observant enough will be able to tell that there is a mess of worry and nervousness hidden in her gaze]
I suppose I woke up here, even though I don't remember falling asleep, and... [A frown makes her press her lips together for a moment, confused and thoughtful, and one hand rises briefly to touch the left side of her neck] ... something strange happened. I don't understand why I've been brought here, what I can help with, but I'm sorry. I have to go back to the Academy.
[Yori pauses, and it's now that the worry becomes clearer. It's obvious that her next words mean a lot to her and are important] If anyone has seen a girl with very long dark hair or a boy with very fair hair, both maybe wearing a school uniform, could you please let me know? I know it isn't much to go on but any help would be appreciated.
... Thank you. [Softly, before the feed cuts out]
"Zodionlogs" Third-Person Prose Entry:
This isn't a place she recognizes, not in the slightest.
Yori inhales sharply in surprise, because this has completely thrown her off kilter. Hadn't she just been walking outside in the grounds of the Academy? She hadn't been alone either and yet now she is, and it fills her with confusion and fear of what could have happened. There is no one here with her, just surroundings that will not answer to her. Yet she decides to call out anyway, and instead of naming those who had been with her she names the two people she's most worried about.
“Yuuki? Zero-kun?” Her voice feels loud in her own ears, what with her surroundings being so quiet.
There is no reply.
A panic set in for a moment. What if they were in danger? What if they had been attacked again and somehow she had lost consciousness? What if-
But as quickly as it came, Yori forces it away. She had to remain calm. 'What if's are not helping, will never help, and her best option is to keep her cool. She can do it; she'd had to before when things were much more dangerous than they are now – at least, she assumes. Keeping her thoughts focused on finding out where she is and where her friends are, she makes herself look around her surroundings again, this time more carefully, and that is when she sees it.
An altar of some sort, a box sitting atop it innocently enough. But for whatever reason, she feels herself drawn to it. The creeping sense of something not being right hides under her skin, and Yori hugs the coat she wears to herself tightly, heart beating that bit faster in her chest as she starts to walk toward it.
The water from the pool she had dismissed as unimportant, rises up abruptly, startling her. She spins in a circle multiple times, trying to find a way out, but there is none, instead all that meets her eyes is the image of herself, nude. Her gaze flashes down to her own person, but she is still wearing her clothes. How strange.
Her neck hurts then, suddenly, and her hand snaps up in fright at the feeling. It's like a pinprick, and then a throbbing, and when Yori inspects it in the reflection of the water she catches the glimmer of an image printed onto her skin like a tattoo. But that's impossible, isn't it?
She doesn't get much time to think about it, because the water falls, as if done with her now, the images dispersing with it. The box calls to her again, and Yori steps closer and reaches out with one hand to feel the top of it, fingertips trailing along before she makes up her mind to open it.
Here's to hoping curiousity doesn't always kill the cat.
